Want to Know More?

Veneers and crowns both improve the appearance of your teeth but serve different purposes. Veneers are ultra-thin shells, usually made of porcelain, that are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth. They are primarily used for cosmetic improvements—such as covering stains, closing gaps, or correcting minor shape issues—without significantly altering the tooth’s structure.

In contrast, crowns cover the entire visible part of a tooth, providing full protection and support. Crowns are used when a tooth is significantly damaged, weakened by decay, cracked, or after root canal therapy. While crowns also improve appearance, their main role is to restore strength and function to compromised teeth.

Prepless, or no-prep, veneers are designed to be a less invasive cosmetic option because they typically don’t require removing any enamel from your natural teeth. Because of this, they are often considered reversible.

However, the veneers are bonded using dental adhesives, so removal should only be done by a dental professional to avoid damage to your teeth. It’s important to understand that while the tooth structure remains intact, prepless veneers still represent a semi-permanent treatment.

The longevity of veneers and crowns depends greatly on your oral hygiene and habits. With consistent dental care—including regular professional cleanings, daily brushing and flossing, and avoiding harmful habits such as biting nails or chewing ice—veneers and crowns can last anywhere from 10 to 20 years or more.

KöR whitening is known for delivering deep, long-lasting whitening results by effectively targeting stubborn stains. When maintained properly, the effects of KöR Whitening can last several years. To preserve your brighter smile, it’s important to practice good oral hygiene, schedule regular dental cleanings, and minimize consumption of stain-causing foods and drinks.

Crown lengthening is a dental surgery performed to expose more of the tooth’s surface by reshaping or removing excess gum tissue. Our team will provide detailed aftercare instructions and schedule follow-ups to monitor your healing and progress.
